SHAWNA ADAMS, M.S., BCBA
South Carolina State Director
Shawna has worked in the field of ABA since 2014. She has had multiple experiences in a variety of settings to date. Shawna began working with children with ASD in the home, clinic, and school settings. Starting in her second year of graduate school, she began working with individuals through the child welfare system by teaching parenting behavior management classes as well as assisting with in-home behavior management for foster, adoptive, and biological families. Post-graduation, Shawna continued working in ASD services and child welfare services, as well as working with teens and adults with DD in the group home setting. She received her degree of Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University, and her degree of Master of Psychology (with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis) from Florida State University. Shawna is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
HANNAH HOLLEY, M.A., BCBA
Hannah began working in the field of ABA in 2009, while attending the College of Charleston. After receiving her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from the College in 2012, she went on to receive a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2014. Hannah became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in 2013, and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2014. After taking a break from the field when her son was born in 2015, Hannah joined Carolina Behavioral Specialists in 2018. Hannah loves making a difference in the lives of the families she works with!
TIFFANY SWIATEK, M.S., BCBA
Tiffany has worked in the field of ABA intermittently since 2009. She has had multiple experiences in a variety of settings in different states. Tiffany began working with children with ASD as well as those diagnosed with ODD, cerebral palsy, and other learning disabilities across home, clinic, and school settings. She initially worked in Connecticut with a primarily school-based organization. She put her ABA career on hold temporarily and served as an active-duty member of our United States Navy from 2009-2016. She then began her program with TSCPP in 2016 and received her provisional special education teaching license in Virginia through Old Dominion University and worked in Virginia in an ASD classroom. She moved to South Carolina shortly after starting her Master program and became a BCaBA in 2018. She received her degree of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University, and her degree of Master of Science - Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Tiffany is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
BETH ALEXANDER, M.ED., BCBA
Beth began working in the ABA field in 2010. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Limestone College in the same year. Beth received her Master's Degree in Education in Curriculum and Instruction (Applied Behavior Analysis) in 2016. She was also a teacher's assistant in an autism classroom for 6 years. Beth left the classroom in 2018 to work in the ABA field full-time. She has been with Carolina Behavioral Specialists since 2016. Beth earned her board certification to become a behavior analyst in 2020. She loves the field and working with these wonderful children and their families.
